Institutional Research and Planning(IRP) with the support of the data strategy program team (joint IRP and CCS team) and in partnership with many other areas on campus, have developed almost 500 Tableau dashboards with key data and information to enable decision-making for the University and report on key metrics.

Dashboards range from tracking and predicting student admissions and detailed reports of enrolment, to budget analysis, alumni fundraising, and institutional survey reporting and analysis in order to support institutional planning.

Winter 2021 headcount enrolment data have now been added to Data Insights (Data Portal) under "Enrolment". Headcount enrolment now includes winter headcounts as reported to MCU as of February 1st, 2021.

Official 2020 degrees awarded data has now been added to Data Insights under Degrees Awarded. This includes the count of degrees/diplomas conferred at the February, June and October 2020 convocations.

Official 2020 full-time faculty data has now been added to Data Insights under Full-time Faculty. This includes 2020 full-time faculty data, as reported to Statistics Canada for UCASS reporting, as of October 1st, 2020.

We are excited to announce that the latest University of Guelph Fact Book has now been released. The 2019-2020 Fact Book was developed by the Office of Institutional Research and Planning and compiles the most frequently requested data and statistical information about the University of Guelph.

Welcome to the new Institutional Research and Planning website! You’ll notice a few changes including the integration of Institutional Analysis and Research and the Budget and Financial Planning Office as well as our new Data Insights section, which is our 'rebranded' Data Portal.

We are offering another Brown Bag Lunch and Learn session on Tuesday, February 25 from 12-1pm in UC 430 to provide a demo of Tableau and answer any questions you may have.
