Institutional Research & Planning - New Website

Welcome to the new Institutional Research and Planning website! You’ll notice a few changes including the integration of Institutional Analysis and Research and the Budget and Financial Planning Office as well as our new Data Insights section, which is our 'rebranded' Data Portal.

Tableau Demo - Lunch and Learn Session on February 25

We are offering another Brown Bag Lunch and Learn session on Tuesday, February 25 from 12-1pm in UC 430 to provide a demo of Tableau and answer any questions you may have.

If you are a Tableau pilot users and would like to participate in this sessions, please RSVP Rob Heenan (rheenan@uoguelph.ca) by Friday, February 21.

2019 Degrees Awarded Reports Now Available

Official 2019 degrees awarded data has now been added to the Data Insights (Data Portal) under both "Interactive Degrees Awarded Reports" and "Degrees Awarded Reports". This includes the count of degrees/diplomas conferred at the February, June and October 2019 convocations.

2019 Full-time Faculty Reports Now Available

Official 2019 full-time faculty data has now been added to the Data Portal under both "Interactive Full-time Faculty Reports" and "Full-time Faculty Reports". This includes 2019 full-time faculty data, as reported to Statistics Canada for UCASS reporting, as of October 1st, 2019.

We are excited to announce that the second annual University of Guelph Fact Book has now been released. The 2018-2019 Fact Book has been developed by the Office of Institutional Analysis and Research and compiles the most frequently requested data and statistical information about the University of Guelph.

We hope that this will be a valuable source of high-level, aggregate information used for planning and decision-making across the University of Guelph.

Spring 2019 Interactive Enrolment and Course Enrolment Reports Now Available

Spring 2019 headcount enrolment data have now been added to the Data Portal under "Interactive Enrolment Reports" and "Interactive Course Enrolment Reports". Headcount enrolment now includes spring and summer headcounts as reported to MTCU on the 3 count dates: June 1 (Summer 1), June 30th (Spring) and July 24th (Summer 2).
